1. Is transport included in the price?

   Yes, Included in the listed prices is transport and installation on your site within 50k from our premises. Out of our standard area is not a problem either. We also do our own transport for our homes to ensure the utmost of care is taken with your new home.

2. Do I have to worry about Council approvals?

   Hoek homes will arrange the building and plumbing approval on your behalf. Conditions apply

3. What about additional costs? What can I expect?

   The house arrives on site fully wired and plumbed to the underside of the house. The only additional costs to you are the connection of onsite services being plumbing/power/rainwater tanks and pumps

4. Can Hoek Homes provide trades for the connection of services on site?

   Yes. We can arrange quotes and supervise the work on your behalf –Pending on your location

5. Can I change the plans?

   Yes. We specialize in designing to suit your needs and property. Make an appointment to sit with the builder to start your custom design.

6. Does the home meet the new energy efficiency laws?

   All homes now have insulation to wall, ceiling and under roof iron. Energy efficient lights are installed throughout. Hotwater is supplied with an energy efficient Instant gas heater.

7. What is the house made of?

   Hyne T2 Blue- Termite protected structural blue pine framing, yellow tongue flooring, Colorbond roofing & a steel subframe

8. What about termites?

   Not an issue. Not an issue. Because the house is built on galvanized steel stumps, there is a visual barrier against termites. All you need to do is your REGULAR checks we also use Hyne T2 Blue- Termite protected structural blue pine framing.

9. Can I choose my own colours?

   Yes. We have an extensive range to choose from and will go through to get the look that you want.

10. What about security?

    The house comes with window locks and security doors to front and rear doors and fly screens to all windows. Security grills are available.

11. Can we use alternative cladding materials?

    Yes. Vinyl cladding is our standard (it comes with a 50 year guarantee) but we are happy to use other cladding materials.

12. Will someone come to my site and take a look?

    Yes. We are happy to do a no obligation site inspection prior to contract.

13. What are the standard floor coverings?

    Tiles to the wet areas with vinyl or carpet or a combination of both to all other areas. Tiles and floating timber flooring are also available.

14. What is the difference between Hoek Homes and other transportable home builders?

    All homes are built at our Brisbane premises. We only have 7 homes under construction at any one time – which means we have the time for attention to detail for each home. Our tradesmen will work on your home from start to completion, including the team that comes to site to install your new home; this ensures that you are satisfied with the final result.
