Di truly went above and beyond her role and as interstate investors, it was extremely valuable to have someone like her to offer additional insights and opinions. Shane was our construction manager and the regular updates he provided on what has been done, what works are scheduled next and the progress photos along the way was outstanding. Having this regular communication and progress reports throughout the construction made it a stress-free experience. Shane also did a fantastic job of keeping the project on-time and on budget.

The office staff never lost patience with our very many design changes and in fact it was our first contact with Di that convinced us to use Hoek Modular Homes. Dean made numerous visits to our site long before we had even signed a contract to ensure that we were happy with the process that would ensue and to guide us through the numerous council imposed overlays on our property. Once work started, there was a stream of conscientious workers at the site on an almost daily basis, sometimes putting in long days to make sure deadlines were met before Christmas break.  These people always introduced themselves to us and were always extremely polite and helpful. Thanks must also go to the project manager Shane.  He made us feel confident throughout the project and he ensured that communication lines were always open.

We were in the market for a granny flat. Through a friend of a friend we heard good things about Hoek homes. Our first contact was with Laura. With her help we adapted a Hoek plan for The Barney to our requirements. Building a new home can be stressful, and Hoek took that stress out and made it pleasurable. They arranged all approvals, certificates, plans etc., and we went along for the ride. We thought the concept of having a steel chassis was a good building point. Lynda did a great job in taking us through the buildings ‘decorative’ side. We found all the ‘tradies’ were brilliant. They were friendly, courteous, tidy in their work and state of site and skilled. Dean has put together a fantastic team. We enjoyed seeing who would turn up on site ‘today’.

We chose Hoek Modular Homes for their appealing designs and reasonable cost. During our factory visit, we were impressed by the high-quality finish, and Lisa and Laura were extremely helpful in guiding us through various options and modifications. Dean Hoek conducted a site inspection and helped us refine our plans, while Laura was prompt in answering emails and providing examples. After finalizing the details and signing the QBCC contract, we felt confident in the transparent pricing. Lynda managed the building phase, sending regular updates and addressing any questions. The construction progressed quickly, and within two months, the house sections were ready. Daniel and his team expertly assembled and installed the house on-site. Darren and Jarod finished the deck, interior carpentry, and addressed minor issues, ensuring everything was perfect before handover. On behalf of my parents I would sincerely like to thank the whole team at Hoek Modular Homes for building there new Granny flat on our property. Initial timeframe was 12 weeks and you managed to get it done in 10, having an onsite build we were worried at having a messy back yard for 3 months but after the first day we could tell we would not have a problem. We were kept informed of what was happening each week and Shane were very easy to deal with, any questions or concerns we had were answered promptly and professionally. I recently had my house built by Hoek Modular homes. Right from the first contact with Sarah in the Sales department to the final handover of my keys, I was very impressed with this company. We had inspected many display homes prior to building and Hoek Modular Homes were in our opinion up with the best in quality and finish. Our new home has a large pantry and walk in robe/dressing room and Hoek Modular Homes were happy to modify one of their extensive range of standard designs to suit our needs. Our build presented some site access problems and Hoek Modular Homes were able build on site as we are local to them. From start to finish, Hoek Modular Homes was there to support me through the design, approval, building and connection process. Flexibility with design meant I could suit the house to my particular needs and create an environmentally efficient and comfortable home. We were absolutely astounded by the professionalism and care of all the tradesman on site and the ability of all to work-in with our requirements of looking after our property during trying times. Unfortunately it rained profusely during the early stages of the build (which was much needed) causing the site to become very boggy. All the guys gave a lot of thought and consideration in making the messy situation more bearable for ourselves. They kept the site neat and tidy always picking up after themselves.
