Recently, members of the Hoek Modular Homes team had the pleasure of attending the Senior Presentation Night for Moreton City Excelsior (MCE), a club we’re proud to support as a major sponsor.

The atmosphere was electric, spirits were high, and there was a shared sense of accomplishment across the room. And for good reason. 2025 has been a history-making year for MCE.

NPL Champions: A Remarkable Achievement

The highlight of the season was the club’s Men’s NPL squad taking out the National Premier League Championship, an extraordinary achievement that reflects relentless discipline, strong leadership, and unwavering teamwork.

Representing Queensland on the National Stage

Winning the NPL Championship comes with a remarkable honour:
MCE will represent Queensland in the inaugural Australian Championship.

This new national second tier of Australian men’s football sits between the A-League Men and the state-based NPL competitions. The first season features:

• 16 teams from around Australia
• A group-stage competition format
• Followed by an elimination final series

For the football community, this is a milestone moment. And for MCE, it’s an opportunity to shine on a national platform.

A Nail-Biting 3–2 Win

MCE kicked off their Australian Championship campaign in style with a thrilling 3–2 victory over Broadmeadow Magic in Newcastle. It was a match that had everything, pressure, momentum swings, grit, and a final outcome that showcased the team’s resilience.

If this opening game is any indication, MCE are ready to take on the country’s best.
